We will detail the check - in process for Saturday, June 18. Registered riders will have specific instructions for setting up camp Friday, June 17 or early Saturday, June 18. Vehicles need to be parked by 9:30 am before the start of the race. After the mass start at 10 am, we will allow traffic to come and go in designated areas.
Elk Basin Recreation Area Is off Hwy 72, about 1 mile north of Belfry. Turn east Dutch Lane, then right on Silvertip for 9 ish miles. We will have markings on the road too. Google directions from Belfry - it's not K-12 schools but Google doesn't really know what to say about Elk Basin on the Montana side of the border - but that is the spot you'll need to be. **If coming from west, please use these directions and avoid going through Red Lodge. Hwy 308 and the bridge is now open, but Red Lodge is busy with rehab construction and locals trying to get Red Lodge up and running again. Thank you!
By All Means Beer will be operating a Beer & Bacon Station which you'll go by two times on the course . Water, electrolytes, PB&J - first mile and last mile!
Kid's Race features a crit lap and a short cross country style lap at 7:30 pm - sponsored by Joyvagen.
The Spoke Shop will be at the event with a fleet of demo e-mountain bikes that folks can take for a hot lap or a short test ride.
Kalyn Beasley will be playing music Saturday evening.
And a campfire if conditions allow!
